At Shepherd Transport, LLC we have high standards for our carrier base. Each carrier is required to go through an application process and must maintain specific levels of insurance and safe driving records.
Carrier requirements include:
A minimum of 6 months active MC Authority
Required CSA Basic scores and Safety Ratings
Copy of Operating Authority (including any re-entitlements)
Copy of Satisfactory Safety letter from the DOT
Fraud research and review on new carriers
Carrier Insurance coverage is reviewed and updated on a regular basis
Worker’s Compensation as per state statutes
